2007 Trucking Industry
We begin our story in 2007, as Robin entered into the Specialized Heavy Haul Trucking Industry.
2013 AMP Specialized Trucking LLC:
The year Robin decided it was time to provide the trucking and freight industry with a better level of service she founded AMP Specialized Trucking. Coming from a lifetime background in the commercial freight service business with her father, she ventured out to create the company and take the first steps into the specialized freight service business in her own shoes.
2016 AMP Specialized Logistics LLC:
As time went along the company grew in size and capabilities, being able to service more clients freight needs and a wider range of commodities meant expanding into a more fitting role of an overall freight logistics company. With the help of Logistic Dynamics Inc AMP is moving up to world wide supply chains and beyond.
We deliver specialized transport solution for heavy haul, full truckload, LTL, break bulk, and multimodal or intermodal transportation services. Our specialized transportation division provides versatile logistics solutions for even the most complex short or long haul shipment.
We specialize in transportation services for all major manufacturing and construction industry sectors such as pipeline construction, Oil and Gas compressors and coolers, generators, cold box modules, excavators, dozers, mulchers, over-dimensional freight, energy production, construction materials, and construction heavy equipment plus much, much more.
President
Robin Merritt Price is a Texas native. She began her involvement in the industry at a very young age through her father, a military man, that worked in logistics in the army. After studying marketing and working in outside sales for many years she followed her passion and begin working as a "truck finder" and was quickly promoted to a broker in the logistic field. Robin eventually teamed up with Logistic Dynamics and formed AMP Specialized Trucking. She found her niche in the movement of pipeline, construction, and oil and gas equipment. Winner's of the 2016 Buffalo Bronze award for exceeding 2.5 in sales. In January of 2015 AMP Specialized Trucking was honored with the Fast Track Award and the 2.5 Million Dollar Bronze Buffalo Award and in 2014 AMP Specialized Trucking was honored with LDI's Million Dollar Club bronze buffalo award as well as an award for Stellar Performance. "As a mother of three with a successful business of my own and a great team with me, I am proud to say I have never been so independent and happy as I am now. March of 2016 Robin Merritt-Price turns AMP Specialized Trucking into AMP Specialized Logistics, LLC. and plans to take her company to an empire!
Freight Specialist
David Price attended Arkansas Tech. On a football scholarship majoring in business. He comes from a background of Logistics with his mother Robin Merritt-Price being the sole owner of AMP Specialized Trucking, LLC. David intensely studied the industry and has taken his roll with us to a new level. David brings a strong work ethic along with keen knowledge of the industry and types of equipment, that’s out there. His strong negotiation skills and his ability to bring on a new customer with ease, makes him a strong asset for our team.
Freight Specialist/Office Manager
Iris is from the Houston, TX area and has a Bachelors and Associates Degree in Science with a Major in Criminal Justice and Minor in Criminal Investigations. She has been in the Trucking Industry since 1999. She has a passion for learning new things and will overcome any hurdle she is confronted with. Her experience as an Office Manager for a Tax Office for 5 years and Lead Loan Processor for 6 years gives her the knowledge and aggressiveness she needs in this very competitive field of Logistics.
